![]() Friends of the Ladera Ranch Library, founded in the fall of 2003, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization staffed solely by volunteers. Our mission is to form an association of persons interested in books and libraries, to focus attention on library services, facilities, and needs, and to stimulate gifts of books, magazines, desirable collections, endowments, and bequests. Monies raised through the Friends' bookstore, special events and contributions are used exclusively for Ladera Ranch Library collections and projects not funded by the county. The Orange County Public Library branch in Ladera Ranch is uniquely situated on the Ladera Ranch School campus. In addition to serving as a public library, during school hours, the children’s library on the ground floor functions as the school library for over 1,600 students in grades K-8.
